GUIDELINES FOR AUTHOR

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts to the Journal of Biobased Chemicals (JOBC). All submissions will be assessed by the Editor to determine whether they fall within the aims and scope of the journal and meet the required standards of scientific quality. Manuscripts considered suitable will proceed through the editorial process, while those that do not meet the journal's requirements may be rejected without external review.

Before submitting a manuscript, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any copyrighted material included in the submission, such as photographs, figures, documents, and datasets. All listed authors must have made substantial contributions to the work and must agree to be identified as authors. Where applicable, research involving humans, animals, or other regulated materials must have received approval from an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal and institutional requirements of the country in which the research was conducted.

To ensure the integrity and transparency of authorship, JOBC does not accept single-author manuscripts. All submissions must include at least two authors who have made significant scholarly contributions to the work. Each author must have clearly defined contributions, which should be reported in the Author Contributions section of the manuscript in accordance with the journal's authorship policy.

Review Articles are accepted by invitation only. To maintain the scientific quality and relevance of published review papers, JOBC only considers review articles submitted by invited authors or authors who have received prior approval from the Editorial Board. Unsolicited review article submissions will not be considered for publication.

The Editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet the journal's minimum quality standards or fails to comply with the submission requirements. Before submission, authors should ensure that the research design, methodology, analysis, and scientific arguments are presented clearly and systematically. The manuscript title should be concise, and the abstract should be informative and able to stand independently. Well-prepared manuscripts are more likely to proceed to the peer-review stage.
