We are pleased to present the 5th volume and 2nd issue of our journal, Journal of Biobased Chemicals, published by the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Jember, Indonesia. This volume is expected to enhance the understanding of natural products and their derivatives, particularly in the areas of energy, chemicals, and materials.
